Vision Tech Agriculture Session: Real-Time Per-Plant Perception and Vision-Guided Actuation for Precision Thermal Weed Control
20 January 2026 • 2:50 PM - 3:10 PM PST | West Expo Stage 1 (Moscone West, Exhibit Level)
Selective weed control in vegetable crops requires fast and reliable identification of individual plants and precise targeting and actuation in challenging field conditions. This talk discusses Tensorfield's real-time per-plant vision and control system designed for integration with a field robotics platform which performs selective thermal weed control. We will describe the imaging architecture and some results we've seen from early system deployments.
