About the series

Under the leadership of Professor Alexis Vogt, SPIE Press has launched the Tutorial Texts Technicians Series.

This series will be focused on educating new technicians in optics and photonics to meet the growing demand for their knowledge and expertise. Several books will be published to serve as course materials and provide assistance to technician educators. A few texts are already in the works on topics such as manufacturing precision optics, hand-grinding of optical flats, and introducing quantum optics.
