All conferences at SPIE Medical Imaging will select a Cum Laude and Honorable Mention poster award from the accepted posters in each conference program. The committee will run the judging process and make the selection before the poster session and a ribbon will be hung on the select posters during the session. The Cum Laude winner and honorable mention will receive award certificates and recognition in their SPIE Profile. It is advisable to hang your poster by 1:00 PM on the day your poster session is scheduled to ensure it is included in the review by the committee. All accepted posters in SPIE Medical Imaging that are presented at the event qualify.
The Imaging Informatics conference will feature a Best Paper award, identified from all oral and poster presentations. A short list of candidate papers will be first identified based on technical review by the program committee from all accepted submissions. The candidate papers will then be further evaluated at the meeting by the awards committee. The award may recognize practical applications, novel methodologies, and/or other significant contributions. The winners will be announced during the conference and the authors will be recognized and awarded a certificate. All accepted submissions to the Imaging Informatics conference qualify.
