Gpixel announced the GLR1002BSI-S, a next-generation 2K back-side-illuminated (BSI) CMOS line-scan image sensor engineered to raise the bar in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and advanced spectroscopy. Built around the most demanding OCT requirements, GLR1002BSI-S combines high-speed readout up to 250 kHz, exceptional NIR sensitivity with 58% QE at 850 nm, and a rectangular 10 × 200 µm pixel optimized for precise optical alignment. Its modern BSI global-shutter architecture, high full-well capacity, low noise, and true 14 bit output provide a substantial leap in interferometric image quality over traditional FSI line-scan solutions used in OCT today.
