Pump-probe measurements of GHz-burst Bessel-beam single-shot modification of fSodalime glass using femtosecond pulses

Abstract
We report on in bulk modifications induced by Bessel-beam irradiation in Sodalime glass with a single GHz-burst. By coupling a single pulse probe with a burst pump, clear understanding of the accumulation regimes can be established. A comparison is also made between the bulk modification generated by MHz- and GHz-burst.

Théo Guilberteau was awarded from the French University of Bordeaux in laser physics and laser-matter interaction in 2023. He is currently doing his PhD on laser surface structuring using MHz/GHz bursts with femtosecond laser between a public institute in the University of Bordeaux (CELIA) and ALPhANOV. He is the author and co-author of 11 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and 5 proceedings.
