Recognizing innovation is an essential way to boost excellence in research and to foster collaboration throughout the European Research Area.

Successful applicants from the European Framework Programmes are invited to showcase their research, innovative products, and services. They receive visibility for their research and free exhibition space.

Why are the EU Framework Programmes important?


The EFPs are part of the EU’s funding instruments for research and innovation, supporting various sectors and initiatives across Europe. Drawing on decades of experience and regular collaboration with the European Commission, particularly through joint initiatives, successful applicants enhance the programmes' effectiveness in advancing R&I across Europe.

Application criteria


Introduction

European Networks are invited to apply for a complimentary “mini booth” in a special high- traffic section of the Photonics Europe 2026 Exhibition, as part of the European Networks Village. 


Purpose of the European Networks Village

  • Village Participants will provide an overview of the most recent research and innovation funded by the European Union.
  • To provide free exhibition space together with broad exposure and publicity to the young innovators who are developing the photonics- based products of the future.
  • To showcase Europe’s finest research programmes and to encourage the transfer of optics/photonics research and technology into new and useful products.
