Photonics-assisted radio frequency down conversion with quantum-dot mode-locked lasers

Abstract
We demonstrate the successful down-conversion of a 400-MHz-spaced multi-tone signal from 60 GHz to 20 GHz, achieving an electrical signal-to-noise ratio of 30 dB, employing a quantum-dot mode-locked laser.
