NorthLab Photonics introduces two new products in the ProCleave™ family: ProCleave HS-MP and ProCleave TF.
ProCleave HS-MP is an electronic fiber cleaver with an integrated micro positioner, developed for the fabrication of in-line optical fiber lens systems where precise control of individual segment length is required. It handles fiber diameters from 80 to 250 µm and supports both process development and automated production. When combined with FITEL’s S185 fusion splicer, it enables faster processing and higher yield in end-cap production.
ProCleave TF is developed for thin and reduced-cladding optical fibers (< 80 µm). Precise tension control enables accurate cleaving at very low fiber tension, resulting in flat end faces and consistent cleave quality. A generic clamping mechanism supports ease of use and high process speed.
