Acktar is proud to launch its newest innovation — the Acktar Diffusive Mirror™, a high-reflectance optical foil designed to meet the most demanding requirements for diffuse, spectrally neutral reflection across the VIS, NIR, and IR spectral regions.
Engineered for precision and durability, this foil delivering >90% total nearly ideal lambertian hemispherical reflectance from 0.4 to 17 µm, making it ideal for optical calibration, sensor testing, stray light control, and radiometric applications.
In addition to its optical performance, the Acktar Diffusive Mirror™ is an environmentally friendly solution — PFAS- and PTFE-free, offering a safer alternative to traditional white reference materials. It is also low-outgassing, making it suitable for use in sensitive environments including vacuum and space applications.
