Prof. Quan Liu

Dr. Quan Liu received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Xidian University, Xi'an, China, a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Graduate School of University of Science and Technology of China in Beijing, China and a PhD degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. He has been an assistant professor then an associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently a full professor in the School of Electronic Science and Engineering at Xiamen University, China. His research interest is focused on biomedical optical spectroscopy and instrumentation.

Dr. Liu has published more than seventy journal papers and held around twenty patents/patent applications in the field of optical spectroscopy and imaging. Dr. Liu is a senior member of SPIE.
