Bert Pasquale has over 30 years of experience in optical system design. His first flight project was the Cassini Composite InfraRed Spectrometer (CIRS). As the optical design lead for the Roman Space Telescope he oversaw the development of the telescope Optical Imaging Assembly, the WideField Instrument including the filter substrates, GRISM and Prism, and the Coronagraph Instrument zero-deviation prisms. He recently designed and built the ORKID (ORCAS Keck Instrument Development) camera installed on the W.M. Keck II Adaptive Optics bench, which has captured the highest resolution visible light direct image at 15 masec resolution.
